About Me

I am a San Diego native, raised in a bilingual home full of love, culture, and family values. I was the spunky and chunky little girl you would catch dancing in front of mirrors and listening to my dad's records. My interest in language and culture stayed with me through my childhood and college years, as I was always involved in my local Portuguese community, and as it ultimately led to my decision to studying international business and management. Although I will never regret this choice, as it gave me the opportunity to live out a childhood dream of living, studying and working in Portugal, it was very difficult to find work after I graduated in the wake of the 2008 economic downturn. The product: the contents of this website! I started finding temp work in all that I love to and knew how to do. Thing is, even after settling into a career in anti-money laundering, I didn't want to give up these passions, so I still continue to share them part-time, and I look forward to sharing them with you! contact@a-darosa.com
